TheRockinR Gaming Carts are customised and specifically built for the medical environment. Each Cart helps healthcare professionals, play specialists, and play facilitators provide much-needed recreation and play to children and young people who are immobile, spending time in the hospital, or visiting as an outpatient.
The Latest Gaming
The Gaming Carts include an Xbox S Series gaming console. Pre-loaded with a minimum of 20 of the latest age-appropriate games, such as FIFA 22, Forza Horizon 5, Hello Neighbor, Paw Patrol, Minecraft, Rocket League, Crash Bandicoot, Lego Superheroes, and many more top titles.
Interactive and Engaging
2 x wireless or wired controllers are included with the Carts, promoting social interaction and engagement between healthcare professionals, other patients, siblings, friends, and parents. Gaming both in research and practice demonstrates an overwhelming positivity on the wellbeing of both young patients and adults.
Safe & Secure with Endless Mobility
Key lockable, which secures the gaming console and the two wireless controllers, helps reduce the risk of theft and loss. Extremely mobile with a small footprint easily wheeled to the patient’s bedside, treatment cubicles/rooms, or patient waiting areas. Mobile versatility is endless and effortless.
Gaming is increasingly being realised in research and in practice as a valuable resource for providing psychological and social support to children and young people with medical conditions.
TheRockinR has witnessed first-hand the positive impact gaming can have on the emotional wellbeing of children and young people. We have received feedback from staff, clinicians, parents, and many young patients.
All demonstrate the overwhelmingly positive impact the Gaming Carts have had. Clinicians have expressed how Gaming Carts allow young people access to activities that remove them from the constraints and anxieties that often surround the hospital environment

Joy and Contentment
We help those who are immobile, have limited access to activities or are in hospitals for lengthy periods while creating and maintaining experiences that produce joy and contentment.
Undergoing medical treatment can often be a scary and isolating experience, especially for children. There is a particular need for age-appropriate coping tools in both paediatric and adult hospitals.
Interactive gaming helps build creativity, promotes interaction with others, while offering some sense of normality and belonging to both patients and families spending time on hospital wards.
Our Medical Gaming Carts support children and young people through the healing process as they undergo treatment and procedures in hospitals.
We offer mobile gaming equipment to healthcare professionals with the means to make activities and technology accessible.
Minimising the effects of isolation, stress, and anxiety on children and young patients helps promote recovery and wellbeing.

I know that our young people will benefit so much from having it. The fact that it can be moved into the children’s bedrooms is just brilliant and gaming can be such a good distraction and source of pleasure for so many people.
